1dayaweek is a campaign and competition which promotes sustainable travel and incentivises employees of businesses and residents of housing developments to use active and sustainable modes of travel more often. Individuals take part by taking a selfie of themselves once they have arrived at their destination and a competition takes place every month whereby individuals, who have judged to have submitted the best photo, win a prize.

1. By entering the prize draw (“You”) are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions. Agreement to Rules: By participating in 1dayaweek You agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Mosodi Limited as final and binding as it relates to the content of 1dayaweek.
2. The 1dayaweek campaign and prize draw is being run by Mosodi Limited.

Eligibility to enter

3. You are only eligible to take part in 1dayaweek if you are:
   • An employee of any Tameside business
   • An employee on Logistics North, Bolton
   • An employee of the AMP, Rotherham
   • An employee of Gateway 36, Barnsley
   • A resident of Waverley New Community, Rotherham
   • A resident of Riverdale Park, Doncaster
   • A resident of Thoresby Vale, Nottingham
   • A resident of Micklefields, Castleford
   • A resident of Torne Farm or Holly Hill 1 & 2, Doncaster
   • A resident of the city of Bradford
4. You must be over 18 years of age to take part in 1dayaweek.
5. In entering the prize draw you confirm you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
6. A maximum of one entry per person per day is permitted.
7. 1dayaweek is free to enter.
8. Check with your doctor before beginning any active mode of travel.

How to enter

9. To enter the prize draw:
   1. Leave your car at home on any day that you travel to work, shops, schools, visiting friends and family and instead, travel to that destination by car share, walking, running, cycling, wheeling (wheelchair) or public transport.
   2. Once you have stopped and it is safe to do so take a picture of yourself when you have arrived at your place of work or your destination. For residents your face and your mode of travel must be clear in the photo. For employees your identity and place of work must be clear in the photo. Where possible demonstrate your sustainable mode of travel in the photo.
   3. To be included in the prize draw You must include the hashtag #my1DAW and any secondary hashtags as specified on 1dayaweek promotional materials.
   4. Post your picture on the 1dayaweek Facebook page. You post your picture as a comment in response to the relevant months post uploaded by the 1dayaweek Team. On Instagram or X (formerly Twitter) include both hashtags and you will automatically be included in that month’s draw. Include our social media handles if possible.
   5. If you are not on social media, you can email your entries to 1dayaweek@mosodi.co.uk
   6. Residents taking part in the Active travel social prescribing project in Bradford are not required to include their face in the photo but can if they wish. Residents in these areas, must take a picture of one of the landmarks or one of the activities listed on the 1dayaweek social prescribing page.
10. Entries for each month close at midnight on the final day of the month.
11. The Prize competition decision will take place on the first working day of the month and will be made by an independent judge not involved in the delivery of 1dayaweek.
12. The independent judge will decide on their favourite photo for the month. A minimum of 1 winner will be chosen per site/location/town (as listed in point 3 of these Terms and Conditions) unless a greater number of winners is specified on promotional materials.
13. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Mosodi Limited.

Odds

14. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

The prize

15. Each month, a minimum of one individual at each of the sites listed in point (3) of these Terms and Conditions, will win £100 voucher unless detailed otherwise. Mosodi Limited will endeavour to allow the winner to choose the retailer wherever possible.
16. Mosodi Limited will purchase the vouchers from the retailer on behalf of the prize winner and present them to the prize winner in person. If this is not possible then Mosodi Limited will email an e-voucher to the winner.
17. The winning entry will be chosen by an individual not employed by Mosodi Limited who will choose their favourite photo(s) for that month.
18. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

Winner announcement

19. The winner will be deemed to have submitted the preferred photo as selected by an independent judge.
20. The winner will be notified by Mosodi Limited within 5 working days of the prize draw taking place via the social media channel on which the picture was submitted or via email.
21. If the winner does not respond to the messages notifying them of their win within 7 days of the second contact, they will lose their right to the prize, and Mosodi Limited reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
22. By entering the prize draw you agree for Mosodi Limited to use your winning social media post in their promotional material.
23. By entering the prize draw you agree for the housing developer and or site owner to promote your win in any communication of their choosing.

Receipt of the prize

24. Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize or alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement.

Data protection

25. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Mosodi Limited for the purposes of administering the prize draw to the extent to which it is reasonably required or desirable for the purposes.

Limitation of Liability

26. Notwithstanding any other provision of these terms and conditions, our liability to you shall not be limited in any way in respect of the following:
    • death or personal injury caused by our negligence
    • our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
    • any other losses suffered by you and caused by us which cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law

General

27. Please only choose modes of travel you are confident and competent to undertake. We are not responsible for your safety on any journey you choose to make. You need to take the appropriate steps to ensure you travel safely and in line with the highway code. If cycling, You are responsible for observing the rules of the road and ensuring that the bicycle you ride is in a roadworthy condition. Mosodi Limited recommend that anyone who cycles completes a National Standard adult cycle training course prior to making a cycling journey.
28. You should consult with your GP before starting any active mode of transport. By enrolling and participating in 1dayaweek you certify that you are healthy and that your physical condition allows you to perform moderate to intense exercise. You should never disregard medical advice or delay in seeking it because of your participation in 1dayaweek.
29. You are never under any obligation to take part in 1dayaweek.
